American Association 2008 League Wide Tryouts

LEAGUE TRYOUT CAMP SET FOR MARCH 27-28 
Fort Worth’s LaGrave Field Hosting Tryouts  
 
DURHAM, NC-- The American Association of Independent 
Professional Baseball's 2008 tryout camp will be March 
27-28 in Fort Worth, TX. The camp will be held at LaGrave 
Field, the home of the 2006 and 2007 League Champion Fort 
Worth Cats. 
 
All participants are required to pre-register for the 
tryout. To pre-register, go to 
http://www.americanassociationbaseball.com/tryout_registration.html. 
If you do not pre-register, we cannot guarantee you will be 
able to participate. The cost of the tryout is $30, which 
can be paid by credit card only. No checks or money orders 
will be accepted. 
 
Check-in is at 7:30AM on Thursday, March 27. A limited 
group of players will be invited back for scrimmages on 
Friday, March 28. The American Association field managers 
will be attending the camp and a dispersal draft will be 
held after the scrimmages. 
 
In order to participate in the camp, players must have 
prior professional baseball playing experience or have 
played at least two years of college baseball within the 
last two years.

West, left on Main Street, and left on 7th Street. 
 
The American Association 96-game season opens Wednesday, 
May 7. The league consists of the following ten teams:
